Our Story &
Philosophy
We founded AlphaZone School of Yoga with a very simple vision — to create a place and a space where everyone could learn and benefit from yoga.
The name AlphaZone Yoga was chosen to serve one of these learnings and benefits: entering and living from the Alpha Brain wave state, synonymous with relaxation and creativity — the beginning place of the state of Yoga.
The word Yoga itself means “to Yoke” — to join together, to unify. This is wonderful as a guiding philosophy and even more powerful as a principal of living life fully.
The richness of Hatha, Jnana & Bhakti Yoga, combined and blended AlphaZone style, serves us in getting to know ourselves more, to believe in ourselves more — and to express this through our teachings, building a bridge in consciousness for others to do the same.

Mary’s Philosophy
Mary’s philosophy is simple and beautiful in its simplicity — “lead with love.”
Mary’s teachings provide a framework for all students to get to know themselves better and express this truth through love. Mary was hooked from her very first downdog and is delighted to be sharing her love and expression of yoga to all who step into the AlphaZone School of Yoga teacher training programme.
Mary supports each student during their training — and long after their graduation. Her ability to be clear and cut straight to what matters makes her a force of transformation.
